WHY BARE AMINOS

Why Bare Aminos

Get more from the protein you eat

Even if you're eating enough protein, your body may not be using it efficiently—especially as you age. Bare Aminos supports your overall protein intake by delivering the essential building blocks your body needs in a rapidly absorbed, high-impact formula. This means more effective muscle support—without relying solely on large meals or protein shakes.

Beat Anabolic Resistance

As we age, anabolic resistance can make it increasingly challenging to build and maintain muscle mass. Bare Aminos, with its high-dose, rapidly absorbed formula of essential amino acids, effectively stimulates muscle protein synthesis at a much higher rate than traditional protein sources, helping to counteract anabolic resistance and support muscle retention and growth.

Train harder, Recover Smarter

As we age, recovery takes longer and energy levels can dip—especially after training. Bare Aminos delivers essential amino acids quickly to help reduce post-exercise fatigue, support muscle repair, and improve recovery time. Whether you're lifting, running, or staying active in your 40s and beyond, it helps you bounce back faster and maintain the strength to keep showing up.

how does
bare aminos work?

Essential amino acids (EAAs) are the key building blocks your body needs to repair and build muscle. Unlike traditional protein sources, which require digestion and breakdown, EAAs are absorbed quickly and used directly by the muscles. This rapid action helps counteract age-related muscle loss, supports recovery, and makes it easier to maintain strength over time.

Unlike traditional protein sources, which may be only partially used for muscle building, Essential Amino Acids (EAAs) are almost entirely directed toward muscle protein synthesis.

The chart shows that up to 99% of EAAs are used to build new proteins, compared to much lower utilization rates for foods like meat, eggs, or whey. This makes EAAs a highly efficient, low-waste option for supporting muscle maintenance and recovery—especially as you age.

Exercise & Recovery

The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) has released a position stand highlighting the benefits of essential amino acid (EAA) supplementation for exercise and performance. Drawing on numerous studies, they conclude that EAAs (especially in free-form) not only stimulate muscle protein synthesis more rapidly than certain intact protein sources (e.g., whey isolates) but also support greater gains in muscle mass, reduce muscle damage, and enhance recovery—particularly in older or clinical populations.

The paper underscores that EAAs are safe, easily absorbed, and most effective when combined with exercise, due to an interactive effect in which activity-driven blood flow boosts EAA delivery to working muscles.

Frequently asked questions

How TO USE EAA's

Simply add 1-2 scoops with at least 500mls of cold water and shake/mix. Add ice for freshness.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EAA'S & BCAA's?

EAA's contain all nine essential amino acids, where as BCAA's contain only three - Leucine Valine & Isoleucine. EAA's also contain these, and research has shown that all nine essential amino acids are consumed together to receive the full exercise benefits.

Can i take eaa'S WITH gut issues?

Unlike Whey protein, EAA's require little to no digestion and absorb quickly. This means they won't cause any gut discomfort. Those who experience issues with whey protein may find EAA's very beneficial as a recovery method.

Is our product halaal certified?

All our ingredidents are Halaal certified and are made in a Halaal certified lab.

Are our eaa's vegan friendly?

Yes, they are suitable for anyone on a Vegan Diet.

How do EAA's compare with whey protein?

Whey protein in classed as an intact protein, as it contains none essential amino acids and other nutrients such as fat and lactose. While whey protein is a great source of extra protein in a diet, studies have shown that EAA's are much better for stimulating Muscle Protein Synthesis due to their fast & easy absorption into the body.

Where do we manufacture?

All our products are manufactured in South Africa using third-party world class labs & manufacturing facilities.
